Broadway is a small town in the Cotswolds with a ton of quaint gift shops and some of the best food known to man (just kidding, but it’s pretty damn good). I’ve visited three times in the last three months so that’s got to count for something! I really love visiting Broadway, and so I thought I’d take you guys on a little tour of the town, with some recommendations of where to go and, most importantly, what to eat! There really is just one main street…Continue Reading “This is… Broadway, UK”

Onto the second part of our trip across the pond! We flew on to Austin, the capital city of Texas, from Newark on the 7th. It’s a really short flight, and something I love is that the time on your ticket is almost always longer than the actual time of the flight, meaning that it’s way shorter than expected! I’ve been to Austin many many times in the past, as my grandma has been living there since I was eight. It’s genuinely one of my…Continue Reading “This is… Austin, TX”

Just some FYIs before I really get in to this post. Firstly, I have been to New York before, with my mum and grandma. We did an absolute ton of touristy things, and were just walking round for like 12 hours a day doing sightseeing, barely stopping to shop or eat or anything (so unlike me, I know). It was an amazing induction into New York’s sights and specialities, but this time, my boyfriend Matt and I wanted to do it differently, so that’s why…Continue Reading “This is… New York City”

Why I haven’t got round to doing this post yet, I really couldn’t say. We went to Brighton for the weekend as it was my birthday, so we’re talking about 6 weeks ago now! As before, this is a bit of a mash-up post, a combination of diary entry and my recommendations for what to do and where to go if you’re ever in Brighton. Read on if you’re a fan of the staycation, the weekend break, or if you’re just a bit nosy! As well…Continue Reading “This is… Brighton”

Last weekend, Matt and I had decided on a weekend away in London. We’d booked the hotel, worked out parking, and arranged to meet up with friends. Of course, I ended up being ill, but we decided to go anyway. Despite not feeling my best, I still managed to have a good time, so here’s a bit of a throwback to what we ate, where we stayed, and what we bought! We parked up at Westfield in Shepherd’s Bush and went straight into the centre. After…Continue Reading “Capital Weekend”

This is yet another belated post. I seem to be good at these, I just don’t ever seem to have the time when something has just happened! This time I’m harking back to a couple of weeks ago, when Matt and I popped into Oxford for the day. It was the day after they had switched the Christmas lights on, so everything was sparkly and Christmassy, and they even had a mini Christmas market set up for the weekend. I mainly wanted to go into…Continue Reading “Oxford in Lights”

Apologies for my short absence, but I have once again been on holiday! This has been quite the year for holidays, one which I know I won’t get to recreate any time soon, and so I jumped at every opportunity to get out of the country (or sometimes just to other parts of the country). As you may be able to tell, this time Matt and I jetted off to Bratislava, in Slovakia. Most people, when told where I was going, would either reply…Continue Reading “Ďakujem, Bratislava”

It’s only this past year that I’ve really discovered tapas. Being an extremely fussy eater, I simply presumed that I wouldn’t like anything, so stayed clear. When my boyfriend and I went to Barcelona 2 years ago, he was keen to try the tapas which the city is famous for, but I stayed clear. However, when we went again in April this year, I was *slightly* more keen to try some. Fortunately, there are quite a few dishes which I like, and we ended up…Continue Reading “Me Encantan Las Tapas”

I haven’t updated much recently, as my last post dealt with, and one of the best events of the last couple of months was my trip to Barcelona – for a whole week! My boyfriend and I have been before, a couple of years ago, but only for a few nights. A week in such an amazing city was so worth it, and allowed us to see and do so much more, and we didn’t have to cram everything we wanted to do into a…Continue Reading “Barcelona: Food, Culture, and Plenty of Plane Problems”

I’m already struggling to find things to write about! I’m squeezing this post in right at the end of the day, as I’ve been buried under a pile of uni work for most of it, so I just wanted something quick to write about. I should have more time soon (maybe not tomorrow) so I can dedicate way more time to these posts! Today I thought I would do a list of my favourite things at the moment, fashion, beauty, TV, food etc. EAT// I haven’t…Continue Reading “What I’ve Been Loving Lately (Blogmas Day 3)”
