This arrived in the post earlier this week, and I can confirm that it is, of course, gorgeous. The packaging is exactly the same as Modern Renaissance and Subculture, just in a matte gold kind of shade. Not the prettiest colour, but as always with Anastasia its great quality. The eyeshadows themselves are really beautiful. Nowhere near as powdery as the Subculture, nor as colourful as the Modern Renaissance, there are a ton of soft browns, crease shades, and deeper defining browns. There are a…Continue Reading “[REVIEW] Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette”

This is how I feel about the new ABH palette: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ If you were waiting for the big reveal on what my opinion was at the end, I’ve kind of ruined the surprise. Sorry not sorry! This palette is so pretty, so pigmented, and just generally impressive that I might just leave this post here…   Okay maybe not, because I really want to tell you guys about this palette! I’ve been wanting to get my hands on an ABH palette for ages, but I’ve always…Continue Reading “[REVIEW] Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette”

I know I say this about an awful lot of make-up, but I’ve had my eye on the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette for a while now. I was under the impression that Zoeva was only available from their official website in the UK, which charges £7 delivery, so I was waiting until I was ordering some of their brushes in order to get this palette. However, when I actually went to make the order, I had a quick search and found Beauty Bay, which was…Continue Reading “[REVIEW] Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette”

I’ve had quite the eventful weekend, which I’ll be doing a post on soon, so I’ve not had the chance to jot this down until 4.30pm on a Sunday! I also had Friday off, which was my first day off so far and was pretty awesome. I’m really getting into Christmassy stuff as well, which I know is pretty early for most, but I love getting excited about it all. The earlier I get excited, the longer everything lasts, because I never want Christmas to…Continue Reading “Five Favourites: 15th November 2015”

I’ve had some Nyx products in basket for a couple of weeks now, since I heard that they were now stocked on (exciting!!). At first I had loads in there, as not having easy access to Nyx products over here meant I had quite the list of things I wanted to buy. However, I managed to narrow it down to about two or three things, when what should come along but the announcement that feelunique were now also stocking Nars! They’ve been getting so…Continue Reading “Mini Feelunique Haul”

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you’re all having great weekends. Mine is relaxing more than anything else, which suits me just fine! Toady’s favourites were a tad difficult to pull together, as I’ve not really been discovering much new lately, but here’s what I’ve managed to scrape together for you guys 🙂 1.Comfy & chunky jumpers It’s that time of year again when it’s cold enough to be wearing thick, woolly jumpers, which is awesome! Although I love the sun, there’s nothing better than just…Continue Reading “Five Favourites: 17th October 2015”

I’ve been going on about it for a couple of weeks now, so I thought it was about time to do a review post. I know everyone and their mum has done one of these, but I really wanted to do one too. Plus I need more post inspiration and didn’t know what else to write about :’) I’m not going to go into tons of detail, but I’ve got some swatches and opinions on the shadows, and a couple of ideas for eye looks…Continue Reading “[REVIEW] Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette”

This is going to be a super quick favourites I’m afraid, as once again I forgot! It’s Sunday night and I’ve had so little free time this weekend, which is really unusual for me! Anyway, keep reading to check outs week’s favourites. 1.Urban Decay Naked Smoky palette I know, I know, I only posted about this a week or so ago. But actually I’ve really been enjoying this so far. I’ve only done one really smoky eye with these shadows, as I’m mostly doing make…Continue Reading “Five Favourites: 11th October 2015”

In my last post, I mentioned that there was a massive shopping mall really near to our hotel in Bratislava. One of the shops which I was most interested in was called Pupa, which sells make up. It’s actually Italian and looks super similar to Kiko, so I don’t know how similar they are, but it was a great store with plenty of options. The first thing that caught my eye were their cream eyeshadows, which come in these cute little pots. I picked up this…Continue Reading “Pupa Cosmetics Haul (from Bratislava!)”

Another US-related post (sorry!) for you today. Although I didn’t really pick up any drugstore make up whilst I was in the US, I did pick up a few bits from Nyx in Ulta one day. In all honesty, there was so much more I wanted to try (and they had a buy one get one half price offer on), but at the time I was pretty intent on getting more of the high-end products I had my eye on. Plus, I’m pretty certain Nyx…Continue Reading “Nyx Picks”
