Okay, so this post is majorly late! But I love reading these so I thought I’d do a quick one now. My Youtube video on the same subject is at the end of the post, so give that a watch if you’d prefer!
The first thing I got was a brand new camera, a Fujifilm S8650 (I think). This was from my parents and it’s such a cool looking camera! I got it in white, which my mum thought was bizarre, but I think it looks kinda retro 🙂
Secondly, I got given this gorgeous Marc Jacobs silver watch by my boyfriend. I just love it! It’s pretty small, which was what I wanted, and it’s just so pretty! I’ve worn it almost every day since Christmas, which is unheard of for me and watches!
The only other ‘big’ present I got was these Nike Air Max Theas, which were from my grandparents. I’ve wanted a pair of plain, basic trainers for a while now, to just wear with jeans or leggings or whatever, and these are perfect! And they’re so comfy too. [Excuse the quality/lighting of the next few photos, it was in a dimly lit room and I hadn’t worked out how to use my new camera that well!]
I also received lots of books and DVDs, some from my parents and brother, and some from friends and family. Again, this photo isn’t great (sorry!), so if you can’t see, there’s The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, Mulan on DVD, the 7th season of Big Bang Theory, Not Going Out series 6, Tangled on DVD, The Fault in Our Stars DVD, Miranda’s live stand-up, and Ayoade on Ayoade (a very strange book…).
I didn’t receive a lot of beauty things for Christmas – a lot of the products I’ve been wanting are fairly pricey, and my parents and grandparents just aren’t people who would understand spending £40 on an eyeshadow palette! I did however get a few beauty bits from Clinique and Lancome, from my other grandma, and my aunt and uncle got me the Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde mascara, and this gorgeous No7 palette (review to come later)!
I also got this cute little Kate Spade notebook from my grandma, as she lives in America and has easy access to Kate Spade (sob!).
All of these Ted Baker goodies came in this box (which will be super useful for storing things in the future), making a very pretty gift set. Funnily enough I actually got a Ted Baker gift set last year with all of the same things in it, and I haven’t used them all up yet! Oops. Getting this has prompted me to get them all out from the bathroom cupboard and use them though, so I’m sure I’ll get through it all eventually! [Although I still haven’t worked out what the Body Soufflé is…]
Finally, of course, I got quite a bit of chocolate and some sweet treats. These are, obviously, mostly gone now, because it’s been over 2 weeks since Christmas and that is ample time to get through this lot! I also received a whole big tin of jelly beans, which I’m still getting through now!
So that’s pretty much everything I got for Christmas! I also got a couple of clothing pieces from my parents which I totally forgot to photograph and also which aren’t in in the video, but I’ll be featuring them in another video soon, so keep an eye out for that!
