Mini Feelunique Haul

I’ve had some Nyx products in basket for a couple of weeks now, since I heard that they were now stocked on (exciting!!). At first I had loads in there, as not having easy access to Nyx products over here meant I had quite the list of things I wanted to buy. However, I managed to narrow it down to about two or three things, when what should come along but the announcement that feelunique were now also stocking Nars! They’ve been getting so many amazing brands on board lately, but Nars is a really fantastic one which I’m really pleased to see more widely available.

Anyway, onto the haul (which really is a very mini haul)! The first Nyx product which I picked out was this powder (below left), their HD Finishing Powder. I picked this up in the shade Banana, as I’ve seen so many bloggers and YouTubers rave about this as a perfect setting powder for under-eye concealer. I was worried that it would be really yellow, and make my under eyes too yellow, but actually it just has that yellow tone to it rather than being full-on yellow, and isn’t too different to a translucent setting powder. I’ve only used this a couple of times, but so far I really like it. It stops my concealer from creasing, keeps everything matte, and adds a bit of brightness under the eye.

Above on the right is the second Nyx product I picked up, their HD blush in the shade Pink the Town. As I bought this from feel, I obviously couldn’t swatch this, and to be honest it wasn’t really the colour I was looking for. I wanted more of a dusky pink, and although this isn’t bright pink, it is a deeper shade than I was after. However, this does look gorgeous on the cheeks, giving that perfect autumn pinky glow, so definitely not money wasted. And at £5.50 each, these blushers are great quality and a complete bargain, so I might have to pick up some more!

Last but definitely not least, and the reason I had to make an order, was this Nars palette. It’s a limited edition (I think exclusive to feelunique), and it is simply the perfect autumn palette. It contains all of the most popular shades this autumn, including a murky gold, a forest green, and a deep purple shade. It also has a matte black, a great transition shade, and a matte white for highlighting. Such an amazing collection of colours. So far, the pigmentation seems pretty good, the only problem I’ve had is with blending out some of the mattes, but they just need a light hand. My one complaint about this palette is the size – it’s tiny! I know to expect palettes to be a bit smaller than I expect, but this is truly compact. However, that does make it perfect for travelling and popping in a make up bag, and I think the shadows are plenty big enough for how much I’ll use them.

Thanks for checking out my little haul guys, I’m sure there will be more Nyx and Nars purchases from feelunique in the near future!
