Okay, so we all know that when I say drugstore, I mean Boots or Superdrug! In this case, it’s Superdrug, although I’m pretty sure that you can pick up all of these in Boots too.
First up is this Barry M nail polish in Turbocharged. It’s one of the Speedy Quick Dry polishes, which Im currently obsessed with. I’m actually loving the Gelly polishes from Barry M as well – very impressed with their nail polishes in general, TBH. This is an amazing coral-red colour which makes even the tiniest hint of tan pop. It does have the tiniest amount of glitter in it, which I didn’t notice at first. I think it makes it an even more unique polish, but it does make it harder to get off!
I know, same old, same old. But these Simple make-up wipes get the job done, and take all of my make-up off, even eyeliner and mascara. I’ll be honest with you, I picked these up because of the packaging, it’s so pretty and pink. But also because you always need make-up wipes..!
I genuinely can’t believe that I’ve never picked this concealer up before. I’ve seen so many American YouTubers rave about this, and I thought we couldn’t even get it here in the UK. I spotted this and couldn’t resist giving it a go. The shade range was so so poor, but the product is amazing. I picked up shade 15, which seemed lighter than shade 10 (?!), and it’s the perfect match for me. This has the perfect level of coverage without getting cakey. It also seems to dry as you buff it in, which might sound strange, but it basically absorbs into the skin rather than sitting on top of it. This means less powder, and a more natural finish. Couldn’t recommend this more highly!
Finally, I picked out this Fixing Mist from L’Oreal. I’m a bit obsessed with any kind of mists/setting sprays/hydrating sprays right now, so thought I’d give this a go. So far, it’s pretty good, but it really doesn’t live up to the likes of the Urban Decay setting sprays or the Make Up For Ever Mis & Fix, or even MAC Fix+. It also has quite a chemically smell, which isn’t great when you’re spraying it on to your face. Overall, not one I tend to reach for, but I’m sure it’ll get used up nonetheless.
Hope you enjoyed this little drugstore haul, look out for more posts coming your way soon!
